Question one shows that the majority of people answering the questionnaire were 18 years of age or under which would effect our results and the perception of our music video as the majority completing the questionnaire were of a similar age to my group and I. Question two presents that more males were answering then females, this is contradictory as the band Little Mix are mainly supported by females. Question three shows how many people watch music videos, this could be via YouTube or any social media. The answers suggest that music videos are still extremely important to promote the song and perhaps has a effect on how the song is perceived. Question four shows what genre of music is popular. The results present that Pop is the most frequently played genre of music and its what people prefer. This relates to our music video as the genre is Pop. Question five shows us how people watch music videos, the most selected answer is YouTube, this shows that when people listen to a song they like they will search the music video as it could add to the meaning of the song, or just add interest. Music videos such as Wrecking Ball by Miley Cyrus, have presented a media up rise as the music video is very symbolic to the song itself.

Overall the results from the questionnaire show different perspectives of selling a CD and making a music video. The results show us that young people in the twenty-first century still think a music video is important and has impact on the actual song itself. These results will help my group and I when making our music video as we can use the information we have gathered from this questionnaire to make our overall product successful.
